Meet the Cupcake

I’m Jessie. I’m 26. I have two kids, a husband, and a degree I’m not currently using. Lily is two and was born very early. Max is one and was born kind of late. I have my hands full.

I like my garden, my pets, my friends, books, pajamas, wine, and cute baked goods. I met James Brown in a sushi bar. I hate bowling and love pumpkins. I have trouble “being in the present,” whatever that means.

I started keeping a journal on my ninth birthday and didn’t stop until it was too hard to live my life and write about it at the same time. This is my attempt to pick up where I left off.
